Helix PR has started the second half of 2017 in a whirlwind of activity. In what are traditionally the busiest months of the year for the maritime and insurance industries, we are working with clients across a host of major events and happenings between now and the end of the year.
August 2017 sees us at the International Safety@Sea Week hosted by the Singapore Maritime and Port Authority (MPA) in Singapore on August 21 – 25.
After that we are virtually non-stop into December, hosting our own events, helping our clients at events and generally being around at the important gatherings which shape the year.
For example, we shall be at the 14th Singapore International Reinsurance Conference (SIRC) on 3October 31 to November 2, in Singapore which is the largest single gathering of reinsurers in Asia which takes place in the Lion City each year.
We will also be at the Gas Asia Summit in Singapore on October 25 – 27.
In November, we will have our own maritime media crisis management seminar in Hong Kong, in conjunction with our friends at partners at law firm Reed Smith, which takes at the Foreign Correspondents Club in Hong Kong on November 16. Hot on the heels of that is Marintec China, the Big Daddy of all global maritime conferences and exhibitions, which takes place in Shanghai on December 5 – 8.
After that, there will barely be time to catch our breath as we head into the festive season break. But before that, we shall be doing our own planning and preparations for 2018 and what is sure to be another busy year.
